Cover Letters Suck…

31/01/2008

I am sitting here trying to write a cover letter to accompany my application to a school board, and I hate it. I have always disliked cover letters. I never know what exactly to write, how much to sell myself, and how much to be reserved. No matter how much I edit, have other people look at them, I am never truly satisfied. I usually just write one and then edit for a bit, and be done with it.

I really should get back to work. I just felt like venting my frustrations upon the blogsphere, so my five loyal readers could laugh at me…

More later

I feel your pain!!! I use the same tactic, and usually it turns out poorly. So the last job I applied for, I actually wrote a new one, and got an interview! But it could be that it was the first job I applied for that I was qualified to do….
